YAC Miscellaneous Outreach Programs YAC embarks on other programs that reach out to our local community. These include:
YAC annual benevolence visit by which we visit a previously identified old peoples’ home to present Christmas gifts and fellowship with them.
YAC organizes annual health fairs, in collaboration with the Howard University Department of Nursing, where individuals and families from our target communities can come and check their vital signs, blood sugar, visual acuity, and also receive nutrition education.
YAC International Charity programs
YAC has an active international charity program that reaches out to countries where there has been some natural disaster or where there is a clear need. This program has reached over ten countries including Barbados, Liberia, Haiti, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Uganda, Ghana, Nigeria, Cote D’voire, Sierra Leone, Kenya and Cameroon. Such assistance includes clothing/shoes, toiletries, food, and educational materials.

and donated to local shelters.
YAC Annual back to-school book drive
YAC distributes free school supplies to students from needy families just before the fall school reopening every year.
